Mac--- making a video clip

1. Click on the "director's" icon on the tool bar (to get to I-movie)
2. File --> New Project --> name it
3. Click on the movie camera icon
4. Start recording .... then stop recording....
5. To play: select video... hit space bar!

Inserting Square Roots.....

1. Click "insert"
2. Click equation
3. Do the square root symbol first
4. Do the fraction part of it second

Go to zamzar.com and follow the four steps. When you select the file to convert, it doesn't seem to show in the box...

Copying a lInk....

You can drag the icon next to the http:// web address onto the desktop. From there, you just click the desktop icon and you are back to the website of interest...

Access EBSCO from any computer

I do not have to go to the university library to do research.

Follow this procedure:
1. "http://www.prel.org"
2. Quicklinks ==> (EBSCO)
3. Login (isla)
4. EBSCOHOST (web)

Excel Tips for the Novice..... (me)

---> You can put in a formula to add two columns (+A1 + B1). Then you can go to the lower right corner of the box until it changes to a plus sign and drag it down and this will repeat the corresponding formula for the cells below it...
